Do not pause video playback on window focus loss#2110

It is infuriating not being able to watch videos in the medal desktop app and be browsing let’s say Reddit on another screen.

For some reason, video playback pauses on window focus loss and the only way to resume is to click back into medal.

I have contacted support about this as this seems very rudimentary feature which I thought would be a thing. But it isn’t apparently…

This is something we do to preseve preformance. But I agree with you we should figure out a way to allow for background / side viewing. Will figure out something with the team.

Even an option on settings to allow it would be great. Appreciate you looking into this!
