Automatic recording?#63

I think the main issue with a program like this is many people forget to hit the hotkey to record clips in the heat of the moment during games.

Plays was awesome because you could go through everything afterward.

What would really make medal awesome for me (it’s pretty good btw, great UI/UX) is the ability to set milestones that automatically save based on calls from League of Legends API.

If you’re worried about bandwidth from people automatically uploading tons of clips, set it to auto record only the big stuff. Start with Baron or dragon steals, Triple kills or higher, shut downs, picks that lead to a kill, etc. These are all things that other apps can detect so I’d imagine it’s possible to set something like this up.

We have a feature called Bookmark Mode currently being tested. This is essentially just a full-session recording. Press F8 and it marks it on the timeline for you to trim later. To try it out yourself, join our early access build!

As for automatic recordings from LoL API, this is something we’re looking into.
